The CCC baseball team secured a 6-5 win over a Region 10 opponent in a mid-week game at Rockingham CC (Wentworth, NC).

The Yetis were led by catcher Davis Turner (Mooresville, NC) who had 3 hits and 2 runs batted in. Other top performers included Darian Munoz (Miami, FL), Riley Cash (Shelby, NC), Blake Decker (Johns Creek, GA), and Greg Johnson (Buford, GA) who all recorded 2 hits on the day.
Starting pitcher Bailey McGinnis (Rutherfordton, NC) went five innings, facing 17 batters and striking out 5. Nate Roof (Lexington, SC) was credited with the win and Josh Compton (Jackson Co., GA) was credited with the save. The Yetis next travel to Guilford Tech for a three game series beginning Saturday, March 13.
