Game 1: Stiles Walks It Off in Extra-Inning Thriller (W 6–5)
In Friday's opener, the Yetis showcased grit and clutch performance with a 6-5 walk-off win in 10 innings. The hero of the game was Riley Stiles, who went a blistering 4-for-6, including the game-winning bunt single that scored Avery Russell in the bottom of the tenth.
Down 5–3 heading into the seventh, Nick Morris sparked the comeback with a two-RBI single to center. Landon Burns and Mason White also drove in key runs earlier in the game. Cleveland totaled 13 hits, with Logan Norris chipping in three of his own.
The bullpen was stellar—Miles Corcoran threw 2.2 no-hit innings with nine strikeouts, while Carter Sterchi closed out the final two innings with four Ks to earn the win.
Game 2: Offensive Explosion Ends in 15–0 Run-Rule Victory
The second game was all Cleveland. The Yetis dismantled Guilford Tech 15–0 in five innings, thanks to a relentless lineup that plated eight in the third and two more in the fourth.
Avery Russell starred with a 4-RBI performance, including a bases-clearing triple and a key RBI single. The team racked up 12 hits and took full advantage of six Titan errors.
Keely Furr, Charlie Davis, and Nick Curtis combined for a two-hit shutout, allowing just three base runners total. The defense turned three double plays, making the win a complete team effort.
Game 3: Yetis Cap Sweep Behind Gowan's Dominance (W 11–1)
The series finale was another showcase of control and power from Cleveland, who cruised to an 11–1 mercy-rule win in six innings.
Jackson Gowan was electric, striking out 10 over five innings while surrendering just three hits and no earned runs. Kohen Orr pitched a perfect sixth in relief.
Offensively, the Yetis were led by Nick Morris (2-for-3, HR, 2B, 2 RBIs), Trenton Doss (solo HR), and Mason White (2 RBIs, sac fly). Avery Russell continued his hot series with two doubles and a sac fly RBI. Cleveland scored in every inning but the first, putting up nine hits and 11 runs, aided by four Guilford errors.
