Runners Compete at High Point

Kohen Johnson ran a personal best in the 800 meters finishing 4^th in his heat. Johnson also competed in the 400 and 200 meter sprints.

Tucker McIntyre and Jamie Sanchez competed in both the 800 meters and 200. The team faced rainy and extremely windy conditions on Saturday in High Point. "The conditions were definitely not the best for a track meet," said Head Coach Steve McCachren. "The guys battled the weather and did a good job in their heats despite the rain and wind."

The Track and Field team will next compete on April 15 at the Southside Power and Fitness Invitational at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory.
