Softball Sweeps Brunswick
The Softball team traveled to Supply, North Carolina for a Saturday doubleheader with Brunswick Community College.

The Yetis took both games, winning by scores of 15-5 and 34-0. In game 1, Brianna Frye would homer and drive in 4 runs. Sierra Crocker would get the win, pitching all 6 innings and striking out 8 Dolphin batters. In game 2, Heather Griffis would homer and Sydney Hamilton would drive in 5 runs. Crocker, Frye, Mallory Haynes, and Trinity Hatchel would each drive in 4 runs. Crocker and Elizabeth Hartsell both pitched in the win to shutout Brunswick.
"It was a long trip down to come and play," said Head Coach Ronald Beaver. "Our bats looked very good today, especially in game 2. Every batter in the lineup had multiple RBI's."
The Yetis are back at home this weekend at Crest HS as they face Catawba Valley CC and Caldwell Tech.
