Softball Splits with Caldwell

The CCC Yetis softball team split their double header versus Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute on Saturday. The games also marked the Grand Opening of the new, on campus softball field. Caldwell would win game one 12-1 with the Yetis winning game two 5-4.
Mallory Haynes would lead the offense in game one with a double and an RBI. In game two, Kaylen Cales would pitch a complete game for the win and hit a double. Brianna Frye doubled and drove in two to lead the offensive effort.
The Yetis are back in action on Wednesday as they travel to play a doubleheader versus Gaston College.
