In a doubleheader matchup between the Brunswick Community College Dolphins and the Cleveland Yetis on April 6, 2024, the Yetis came out on top in both games.
In the first game, the Yetis defeated the Dolphins with a final score of 7-4. The Dolphins took an early lead, scoring two runs in the fourth inning and two more in the fifth. However, the Yetis staged a comeback in the bottom of the fifth, scoring six runs to take the lead and ultimately secure the win. Kaylen Cales was a standout player for the Yetis, driving in two runs with a double and a triple. Pitcher Christian Beaver also had a strong performance, allowing only two runs over five innings.

In the second game, the Yetis continued their success, defeating the Dolphins with a final score of 5-1. Sayge Strange had a standout performance for the Yetis, hitting a home run and driving in two runs. Pitcher Sayge Strange also had a strong outing, allowing only one run over seven innings.
In the final game of the series, Cleveland defeated Brunswick again with a final score of 5-3 on April 7, 2024. The game was closely contested, with the Yetis scoring all five of their runs in the fifth inning. Kaylen Cales, Christian Beaver, Gracie Elmore, and Sayge Strange all contributed RBIs for the Yetis in that inning.
The Dolphins had a strong offensive showing, collecting 9 hits in the game, but were unable to overcome the Yetis' big fifth inning. Pitching was also a key factor in the game, with Christian Beaver and Sayge Strange combining for a solid performance on the mound for the Yetis.
Overall, it was a competitive game between the two teams, with the Yetis ultimately coming out on top. The games showcased strong performances from both sides and highlighted the importance of timely hitting and solid pitching in softball. The weekend sweep gives the Yetis 21 wins for the season, giving the team the most wins in program history, surpassing the previous record of 18.
