The Cleveland Community College volleyball team traveled to the Wallace State Invitational in Hanceville, Alabama, August 29–30. Over the course of four matches, the Yetis showed grit, firepower, and teamwork, finishing with a 3-1 record against tough competition.
Game 1: Cleveland 3, Coastal Alabama-South 1
The Yetis opened the tournament with a statement, taking down Coastal Alabama-South in four sets behind a balanced attack and tough defense.

Warlick set the tone with 15 kills, 15 digs, and 17 total points.

Beaver ran the floor brilliantly, dishing out 26 assists while also posting 21 digs, 6 kills, and 3 aces.

Hernandez provided 10 kills and 3 block assists to spark the front row.

Brown added 8 kills, while Gibbs and Cutter combined for strong play at the net with 5 kills and 4 block assists.

Game 2: Cleveland 3, Georgia Highlands 0
The Yetis bounced back in dominant fashion, sweeping Georgia Highlands with set scores of 25-9, 25-15, 25-12.

Amelia Pilgrim had a breakout match, hammering 9 kills without an error (.750) and adding 3 aces.

Warlick stayed hot, tallying 10 kills on a .500 hitting clip along with 5 aces and 10 digs.

Beaver controlled the offense with 27 assists while also picking up 8 points with her attacking and serving.

London Brown chipped in 3 kills and 4 digs, while Peyton Whitson went a perfect 1-for-1 on swings.
Game 3: Cleveland 3, Lawson State 1
Saturday morning, the Yetis kept the momentum rolling with a four-set win over Lawson State.

Warlick again led the charge with 16 kills, 12 digs, and 3 aces, finishing with 19.5 total points.

Brown powered down 12 kills, while Gibbs was highly efficient, hitting .571 with 4 kills.

Game 4: Wallace State 3, Cleveland 0
In their final match, the Yetis ran into the host Wallace State squad, who proved too strong in a straight-set defeat. Cleveland battled but could not overcome the offensive pressure.
