Cleveland volleyball went the distance on Tuesday night, pushing the Caldwell Cobras to five sets before falling just short in a home match. The Yetis showed grit and resilience throughout the match, taking sets one and three in convincing fashion before Caldwell held on late to secure the 3–2 win.
The Yetis offense was balanced and dynamic, with multiple players stepping up. Sara Rose Warlick turned in a strong performance at the net, leading the team with 16 kills while also adding 18 digs. London Brown was right behind her with 15 kills and 19 digs, showing her ability to impact both sides of the court. Truly Gibbs was a force in the middle, finishing with six kills and six blocks.
Freshman setter Addison Beaver kept the attack moving, dishing out 42 assists while collecting 10 digs of her own. Corinne Cutter also added a spark at the net with six kills and five blocks, keeping the Yetis in striking distance throughout the night.
Up next, the team travels to Mesa, Arizona, for games on Friday and Saturday against South Mountain Community College, Mesa Community College, and Scottsdale Community College.
