Yetis Sweep USC Lancaster on the Road
The Cleveland Community College volleyball team dominated on the road Wednesday night, taking down USC Lancaster in straight sets (25–12, 25–22, 25–16). The win marks another strong showing for the Yetis, who controlled the match from start to finish with efficient hitting and steady defense.
The Yetis came out hot in the opening set, hitting .375 as a team and setting the tone early. Sophomore outside hitter Ariann Hernandez led the charge with an impressive .524 hitting percentage, posting 13 kills on 21 swings. London Brown added 12 kills and 7 digs, while Sara Rose Warlick was nearly unstoppable at the net with 8 kills and a .467 hitting mark.
Setter Addison Beaver ran the offense with precision, dishing out 26 assists to go along with 3 aces and 6 digs. Avery Lindsey and Brown each contributed 3 service aces, helping the Yetis maintain control from the service line. Defensively, Kaitlyn Clutter anchored the back row with 20 digs, while Warlick and Janiyah Giddens combined for key blocks at the net.
As a team, Cleveland Community hit an impressive .297 on the night—one of their most efficient offensive performances of the season. With this 3–0 sweep, the Yetis continue to build momentum as they move deeper into October play under head coach Jamie Wilson.
